Shanghai Yangpu District Youth Amateur Sports School (Yangpu Youth Sports School) is a long-established and well-established district-level comprehensive amateur sports school in Shanghai. It has been awarded the titles of National High-Level Sports Reserve Talent Base, National Advanced Collective for Youth Sports Work, and Shanghai's "Swimming Hometown" talent cradle (the birthplace of Olympic athletes such as Lu Ying).
It has over 700 students in training year-round and more than 40 coaches (10 senior and 26 intermediate). The school emphasizes the integration of sports and education, collaborating with primary and secondary schools within the district for comprehensive training. The school's swimming pool is a long-established 25-meter standard short-course pool in Shanghai, offering professional training and open to the public. It is a popular location for parent-child swimming and children's training. The pool water is maintained at a constant temperature of 28℃±1℃ year-round, with 24-hour circulating filtration and ozone disinfection, meeting national standards. The indoor facilities are well-lit, well-ventilated, dehumidified, and have underfloor heating, and are open year-round.
