An elevator car is one of the most difficult spaces to cool. It is small, sealed, constantly moving, and packed with people during peak hours. Heat builds up quickly from passengers, lighting, control panels and the door mechanism. In hot climates, cab temperature can easily exceed 40°C within minutes.
A building’s central air conditioning system usually cannot reach the cab. Ventilation fans only circulate hot air. And standard split units are too bulky, too heavy, and not designed for the vibration, limited space and intermittent power supply of an elevator shaft.
The 60Hz Elevator Air Conditioner is purpose-built for this environment: compact, vibration-resistant, and designed for the 60Hz power grids used across the Middle East, Latin America, Southeast Asia and parts of Africa.
Slim profile and low weight allow installation on the cab roof or inside the car without reducing passenger space or exceeding elevator load limits.
Compressor, fan motor and control board are matched to 60Hz power supply, ensuring stable cooling capacity and reliable starting performance in 60Hz markets.
R410A delivers efficient heat transfer in a compact system, and is widely available through service networks worldwide — an important factor for after-sales support in export markets.
Reinforced piping, anti-vibration mounts and secure component fixing allow continuous operation under the constant movement of elevator travel.
Cooling-only and cooling-and-heating versions are available, so the same unit can handle hot summers and cold winters in markets with large seasonal temperature swings.
Low-noise fan and compressor selection keeps cab noise to a comfortable level, which matters for hospitals, hotels, offices and residential buildings.
Condensate drainage, filter access and electrical connections are arranged for quick service without removing the whole unit from the cab.

Why is a 60Hz version necessary?
Compressors and fan motors are matched to a specific frequency. A 50Hz unit running on a 60Hz supply
will run at higher speed, which affects cooling capacity, current draw and service life. A dedicated
60Hz version ensures stable performance and reliable operation.
Can the unit be installed on an existing elevator?
Yes. Roof-mounted and in-car models are available, and most installations can be completed without
major modification to the cab. We provide installation drawings to support the work.
Does the elevator movement affect the unit?
The unit is built with reinforced piping, anti-vibration mounts and secure fixing specifically for
continuous elevator travel.
Is cooling only available, or can I get heating too?
Both versions are available. For markets with cold winters, the cooling-and-heating model is
recommended.
Can it work in high ambient temperature?
Yes. High-ambient configurations are available for the Middle East, Southeast Asia and other hot
regions. Please specify your maximum site temperature when requesting a quotation.
