Winter Is Approaching – Please Take Advance Anti-Freezing Protection Measures for Equipment

Anti-Freezing Tips for Commercial Hot Water Units, Swimming Pool Heat Pumps and Modular Units

For equipment such as swimming pool heat pumps, anti-freezing operations shall comply with the following requirements:

In the powered-on state: Do not cut off the power supply to the main unit and water pump; ensure their interlock function is in normal condition. If the interlock function is unavailable, keep the water pump running continuously.

In the powered-off state: Drain all water from the system completely to prevent freeze cracking and damage to the main unit and pipelines caused by low temperatures.

Friendly Reminder: The main unit is equipped with a built-in anti-freezing function. When powered on, it can maintain the water temperature above 0°C, effectively preventing freeze damage to the unit.

Anti-Freezing Tips for Three-in-One Swimming Pool Dehumidifying Heat Pumps and Air Handling Units

For three-in-one swimming pool dehumidifying heat pumps and air handling units, the anti-freezing operation specifications for different shutdown states are as follows:

During long-term shutdown: Drain all residual water from water pipes, three-in-one swimming pool dehumidifying heat pumps and the interior of the equipment. Keep the water chamber drain valve open during the shutdown period to prevent freeze damage to the main unit pipelines in low winter temperatures.

During temporary shutdown: Do not cut off the power supply to the main unit and water pump; ensure their interlock function is in normal condition. For regions where the ambient temperature drops below 0°C, be sure to take anti-freezing measures for the water circuit (such as draining water, keeping the water circulation pump running continuously, turning on the heater to raise the temperature, or adding antifreeze, etc.) to avoid freeze damage to the pipelines.

Important Note: When the ambient temperature falls below 3°C, drain all water from the heat recovery circuit of the three-in-one swimming pool unit. If the auxiliary hot water coil heat exchanger is not in use temporarily, drain the water inside it in a timely manner.
